Mindfulness
Mindfulness is paying attention to the present moment, on purpose, without judgement. Mindfulness improves our physical health, mental health and overall well-being. Come learn and experience mindfulness practices. All are welcome. No experience necessary.

Mindfulness programs are in collaboration with Adriana Moreno-Zarate, MA, ERYT 500, a Qualified Teacher of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and an experienced teacher of yoga and meditation at University of Miami for over 13 years.
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an evidence-based 8-week program that teaches mindfulness meditation to improve your health and well-being. MBSR's experiential approach provides training to increase your focus, concentration and awareness internally and externally, providing tools needed for living in the present moment with joy and health.
Several decades of research have demonstrated that individuals who complete MBSR have improved physical, psychological, and behavioral outcomes. MBSR is for those who wish to better manage stress, maintain or increase their health and well-being, and learn mindfulness.

Weekly 2.5-hour sessions, plus a one-day retreat, will incorporate mindfulness practices and experiential learning.

The program is lead by Adriana Moreno-Zarate, MA, ERYT 500, a qualified teacher of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). She currently teaches MBSR in the community and with Mindful Kids Miami, and has been teaching yoga and meditation at University of Miami for over 14 years.
Mindful Pregnancy & Beyond
Pregnant women & their partners will learn mindfulness tools to help them thrive in pregnancy, childbirth, and through their journey as a parent. Practice meditation, prenatal and partner yoga, and learn how mindfulness can ease your fear and pain in birth and impact your birth, for you and your baby.

Course enrollment is limited to ensure maximum benefit to participants. Six 2-hour sessions will incorporate mindfulness practices and experiential learning.
