About The Event
The day will include concepts and practices of mindfulness, self-compassion, meditation, mindful eating, and yoga, including:
· how to stay focused on what really matters, staying present and aware of our own and our family's needs in the moment,
· how to take care of ourselves as caregivers,
· mindful meditation and movement (yoga) for those who want to incorporate mindfulness into their daily lives,
· time for inquiry and discussion.
Led by Dr. Christine Hughes Pontier, developmental psychologist and mother, who brings information and support to new families through her services and Adriana Moreno-Zarate, ERYT 500, qualified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction teacher and yoga teacher.
